About Me
I planned a full school day...but life assigned it's own curriculum!
About me!
Hi, I’m Julie—Christian speaker, author, widow, and single mom to five wildly amazing (and often loud) kids. I’ve been walking the motherhood road for 18 years, through joy, heartbreak, growth spurts, and more than one mysteriously sticky surface—with a whole lot of God's grace keeping us afloat.
After losing my husband in Jan of 2022, life turned upside down. Homeschooling—something I’d been doing for years—became both my greatest challenge and a surprising lifeline. In the middle of grief, math lessons, and spilled milk, I’ve seen God show up in deeply personal ways. Not always in the ways I asked for—but always in the ways I needed.
Now, I speak to moms who are deep in the trenches—whether you're balancing babies and burnout, lesson plans and laundry, or just trying to survive bedtime without crying (again, you or the kids). I’m here to remind you: you are not alone, you are more equipped than you think, and God is walking right beside you—yes, even in your mismatched socks. He chose you for your children!
Whether you homeschool, public school, or somewhere-in-between school, our mission as moms remains the same: love them well, point them to Jesus, and try not to lose your mind in the process. Harvard is great, but Heaven is the goal—and some days, showing up is holy work all on its own.
