About Me
I planned a full school day...but life assigned it's own curriculum!
Julie Napp is a Christian speaker, author, widow, and solo homeschooling mom to five wildly amazing children. With over twelve years of homeschooling experience (15 more to go!) and one graduate, Julie brings both grit and grace to the journey of faith-filled motherhood.
After losing her husband in January 2022, life turned upside down. Homeschooling—once a steady rhythm—became both her greatest challenge and an unexpected lifeline. In the midst of grief, math lessons, and mysteriously sticky surfaces, she’s seen God show up in deeply personal ways—not always how she asked, but always how she needed.
Julie encourages parents to deinfluence their homeschools—cutting through cultural noise and social media pressure—to create something simpler, stronger, and centered on their family’s real needs.
Whether you’re juggling lesson plans and laundry or trying not to cry at bedtime (you or the kids), Julie’s message is clear: You are not alone. You’re more equipped than you think. And God is walking with you—even in your mismatched socks.
Because at the end of the day, Harvard is fine—but Heaven is the goal.
